The Peter Harradine-designed course at Al Hamra Golf Club takes many of its design features from traditional links-style courses as it meanders around four inter-connected open water lagoons merging seamlessly with the water of the Arabian Gulf.
Designed with five varying tee options on each hole, the Par 72 Championship course lends itself perfectly to all levels of golfers, providing the fledgling novice or the most accomplished of players with an enjoyable and interesting golfing challenge.
Ben & Dubai Golf Holidays Analysis - Home of the RAK DP World Tour annual Championships this is a must when travelling outside of Dubai and into the very popular resort and Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah. Many U.A.E locals and Dubai residents love escaping the city and take the 90 minutes drive over to Al Hamra enjoying the natural landscape on the car journey across.
The course is a gem and has some magnificent holes which venture around the Al Hamra Hotel resort, this again can be very exposed to the wind and golfers need to go careful. The usual amass of water hazards and large bunkers await, there are also some very long and testing Par 3's on this layout, so get through them level par and you have done exceedingly well.
